Methodology
DS approaches to development have been theoretically rich but somewhat lacking in appropriate methodologies for testing these models. Thus, I am also interested in exploring and developing innovative research designs, measures, programs, and analytical techniques that will allow others to apply a DS framework to their investigations. In order to conduct this innovative research, I have further refined the state space grid method, developed by my mentor (Marc Lewis).

The state space grid method is summarized in this short paper from the proceedings of the Measuring Behavior conference 2005:
State Space Grids – Noldus 2005.pdf

GridWare
I also headed a project to develop a software program so that other researchers could use this technique. GridWare is freely available on the web at www.statespacegrids.org
