Graduate Teaching Position(s) Available

PSYC-809*/0.5 Child-Adolescent Clinical Psychology ----- 2.5 hours/wk ----- 6 wks (50%)

Provides an overview of normal and abnormal development from conception to adolescence. Presentations balance theoretical controversies, basic research, and practical applications surrounding development principles considered in both the promotion of competence and the prevention/treatment of disorder.

Requirements:
Successful candidates will typically have a PhD in Psychology or a related discipline. They will have expertise in the field or fields relevant to the course and appropriate teaching experience.

Academic professionals at Queen's University are governed by two (2) Collective Agreements between the Queen's University Faculty Association (QUFA) and the University, which are posted at http://www.qufa.ca.  A candidate qualified to teach a load of 1.5 full course equivalents or less may be eligible for appointment to a Sessional Adjunct position, as defined by the Collective Agreement for Sessional Adjuncts.   A candidate qualified to teach a load of 2.0 full course equivalents or more may be considered for appointment to a Term Adjunct position as defined by the Collective Agreement for Faculty, Librarians and Archivist between QUFA and Queen’s University.  Remuneration will be in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement.  A suitably qualified candidate who is a graduate student at Queen’s teaching a course in their discipline is eligible for appointment as a Teaching Fellow during the period of their employment.  If the graduate student is teaching a course in a different discipline then they would be eligible for appointment as a Sessional Adjunct
