Would you like to participate in a research experiment?

The Cognition & Action Laboratory is always looking for volunteers who are interested in participating in one of our research experiments. In a typical experiment, the volunteer will perform action tasks while we measure hand and/or eye movements. Many of our studies involve tasks performed in a virtual reality environment in which participants control a robot and interact with virtual objects. (See the Projects link for examples of research carried out in the lab.) We are interested in understanding how the brain plans and controls actions. All research protocols employed in the laboratory have undergone a review process and have been approved by the Queen's University Ethics Board.
